Newbie alert here!

So, I've been playing aound with a new install and pligged a bunch of things, but none of them are on my front page. They do, however, appear if I go to "Pligg for Stories" ... what's the deal with determining what appears on the front? Is there some minimum number of users? Minimum times? Is all this adjustable?
