| It probably cost $40K because the registration requires you to register for Intel's entire site. So, it probably cost $40K to develop a 100% integrated and working bridge between Intel.com and this Pligg framework. They also probably linked it to their existing database (which may or may not be MySQL) allowing their previously registered users access.
When you consider all of that, I could see it costing $40K, especially if they're not using a MySQL DB currently.
Hell, I have a hard enough time getting my basic template to look "satisfactory" to me and I'm not bridging my Pligg framework to anything (yet). |
