Blaze, if you go to the Google Webmaster Tools console...
Go to... Diagnostics and then... Content analysis...
It lists duplicate meta descriptions, which just reinforces what we already know... duplicate meta descriptions
does matter to Google.
I've been working on my site for the last couple of days, and the coding recommendations on this thread are on my list of things to do...
