Well seeing I'm in the dark on this one I decided to install a fresh copy of pligg 9.8.2 on another root folder found here,

I than restored the Blog Engage database on to it!
As you can see the comments are being left when I select submit so this leaves me even more stumped!
But the good news is I know what ever affected this comment system was
not a database issue but a file issue most likely in my root blogengage folders.
So at this point I'm left with one possible option to self fix the comments situation. I'm backing up the entire blog engage folder contents, installing a fresh copy of pligg and restoring the original database!
This should have the same affect on the main blogengage site as it did over at the test site. At this point i should be able to comment.
If this is successful I will then start fixing all the language files and faq stuff again to be specific for blog engage!
