So far, pligg has proved useful, though hard ( compared to other sites ) to impliment changes. esyndicat uses smarty, but their way of installing modules is top dollar, basically you choose from your download page ( each domain has its own key, download area etc ) which module you want to install, download / upload it, go to an area within admin that lets you browse your computer for the install file, select, press install, hey presto, you have a working module without having to hack code.( I know some of your modules work like this, but not all )

The point is, this would be great in pligg, instead of having the long process of hacking code, to find ( in my case ) I often have to abandon the wanted add on simply because I get error messages. Whilst I am not a coder, I am also not a 'newbie' to code, and I struggle somewhat.

In the same vein, a google box within admin that lets you submit your google / add code, saving having to remember where it is within the template.

A captcha refresh, coz getting the captcha wrong after inserting info for the page to be wiped is arggghhh frustrating,

A custom box, that we could add our own stuff in, ( coz trying to make on is in my case a nightmare )

In my opinion, I would be willing to pay, $70 for a pligg whereby the 'brains' is taken out, or a larger fee for unlimited sites, you could leave the free downloads there, but a basic template, which in my opinion encourages people to buy the version that also makes coffee.

( sorry for the waffle )

Atb, Mark
