Without seeing what you've done we can only make a guess. I would innitialy have to say "no"

The best way to speed up your site on a shared host is to use minimal graphics and very little javascript. You could also try Gzip compression if your server supports it. Chopping up the code and adding more to display it all again will only increase your server load.
