As with regards to your suggestion, there's a little chance that we will add it to our current and future templates. The reason is that Pligg is already loaded with lots of JavaScript. If we add some fancy AJAX effects, it could add another long lines of JavaScript which will eventually degrade performance.
We will keep our templates simple and usable.
