Something that works something like that would be a nice feature to add. I don't like the way sites (including Pligg) just take you to the login page when clicking something that you have to be logged in to use. It should just be a note that comes up saying this is a member feature or something like that, and points you to where and what is needed. Something friendlier than just dumping you in the login page.

Since Pligg also uses Prototype (right?) this will be awsome... and not only for the login form as you may see in their samples
