Right navigation

Tried to search the forums, sorry if this has already been brought up.

Just wondering how I might be able to handle the right-side navigation overlapping the background image, I'd like the bottom bar (background image) to stretch with the navigation, not just the content of the page. Has anyone else noticed this?

Renders fine in IE but not FF.
