Password reset issue
Here is a problem I am running into.

1. The new user account was created by admin user.

2. But the user can not log in using the username and password.

3. If user uses password reset feature, he gets password change request email and once he clicks on the link in the email, it gives him a message
"Your password has been reset to "password". Please login and change your password"

4. Now if he tries to log in using his user name and "password" as password, he gets "ERROR - incorrect username or password"


What could be wrong here?

I got the same thing and didn't debug. Does anyone know?

We would love to help, unfortunately you provided us no further details other than " it doesn't work". We have no clue what pligg version you are using, operating system, php version, mysql, template, etc..

pligg 9.9.0

OS - Debian Linux

Mysql - 5.0.16

PHP 4.4.8

Template is customized one
