Meta.tpl not being included

Hello,

I made changes to meta.tpl to set the meta keywords and description variables. The changes did not show in in the source of the index page.

I looked at pligg.tpl, and it does appear to include meta.tpl, but I don't see my modifications.

I ended up adding the META fields directly to pigg.tpl in HTML format, but I figured I should report this.

If you updated the meta.tpl in the /templates folder and the changes didn't appear, try clearing the /templates_c folder.

Ash, for pliggers who need to upgrade from v7 to v8.2, do you have any other recommendations? will a v7 database work with the current version? I am trying to get additional info before I make the plunge.

Not too many folks have posted much about v7 to v8.2 upgrades, so im trying to get your input.

The main purpose of the upgrade is to include the meta.tpl stuff for search improvement.
