cannot search 2 fields

This is something I came across when I added the ability to search the contents of the extra fields.

The way search works at the moment, if it finds your query in a field, it returns as a result. However, if you search for 2 words, and those 2 words don't appear in the same field, it wont return a result.

That makes sense, except that it also doesn't return a result if one word is found in one field, and the other is found in a second field.

For example, say you have a bunch of links that are tagged "drum solo", and in the description of each link is the name of a drummer. If you search for a name, it'll find the correct links, likewise if you search for "drum solo". But if you search for "drum solo drummername" it wont find anything, because that string doesn't exist in any singular field.

That is what it looks like is happening to me, no doubt a dev can set me straight if I've got it wrong. I think not being able to search across multiple fields is a bug, but I guess others might decide that being able to do that is actually a feature.

If you search for "gadd" you will get a bunch of returns. If you search for "modern" you will get another bunch, with one video in common. To me, logically, if you then searched for "gadd modern" it should return the one video that has both those terms in it. But instead you get nothing.

This is running pligg 8.2, with a slightly modified version of molliobeat. The mods should not be effecting the search results.

It would be nice if someone could at least confirm how the current search DOES work.
