Search not working?

Either way, I can't get your search function to work on the pligg.com site and I also can't get the search function to work with the beta 5 download. Any ideas? Thanks!

try "testing"
http://www.pligg.com/shakeit.php?search=testing

The search function will not find part of words, only the full word. This means that if you searched for "play station" it would not show "playstation" results.

Can it be modified so it's "looser" and will accept parts of words?

E.g. http://digg.com/search?search=sale

I am looking into a more advanced search tool for a future release of Pligg. If anyone has any experience or suggestions for this area let me know.

?Has anyone tried out the search service provided by http://swickihome.eurekster.com/ I heard about this on the boagworld podcast this week and tested out the boagworld.com version here: http://boagworld-swicki.eurekster.com/AJAX/. It's an interesting technology and has a lot of unique elements that I would like to have included in a search tool.
