Editing comment doesn't send to the right page

Hi, if you go to this page

http://www.advotiser.com/vote/story....iness-on-web-1

you will see the comment, now anybody that is registered can't edit their comment if they like as the link takes them to a dead link which is

http://www.advotiser.com/vote./edit....=1&commentid=1

You'll notice the " . " in " /vote./ " that's where the problem is. Can anybody help me fix it please, THANKS.

First check if my_pligg_base and base_url are correct.

then in /libs/html.php

look for this line.

If ($x == "editcomment") {return my_pligg_base."/edit.php?id=" . $var2 . "&commentid=" . $var1;}

is it there and is it the same

nope, there is no libs/html.php just libs/html1.php - maybe they are the same.

and that line is not there.

And yes the my_pligg_base and base_url are correct

I just found something in the libs/html1.php file it reads as below

If ($x == "editcomment") {return my_pligg_base."./edit.php?id=" . $var2 . "&commentid=" . $var1;} //leave the . in "./editcomment" because full url should be /story/15/editcomment/2

Are you using beta 8? I believe this bug was fixed about 8 weeks ago http://pligg.svn.sourceforge.net/vie...v&revision=203

nope beta 8.2 the one before 9. I just downloaded 9 should I just upgrade and hope for the best.

oops, that's what I meant. If you're using 8.2 then there is a bug and that link above will help you fix it.
