pligg 9.0 - unable to delete categories?

Upgraded from 8.2.0. but I am not able to delete categories?

BTW how to add sub-categories? thanks.

while you're in the category manager to create sub categories all you have to do it drag the "name" link of one category on top of another. The page should refresh and you should be good to go. To delete a category you click on the "name" link and it should drop down the delete category button.

kbeeveer46, thanks for the quick answer. that works!

however sometimes it seems to be rather hard to drag the category to the right place to achieve the desired order. what is the basic rule? there are two empty boxes for each catetory, one above and the other below.

Yeah, those boxes are there to help guide you while dragging categories. If you drop a category into a grey box below a category it will place it below that one and vice versa if you drag one in the grey box above it. Be careful, if you delete a category I believe it deletes all of its sub categories.
