RSS not update automatically
Import work only after manual link activation. Why?

You have to setup a CRON job to run /rss/import_feeds.php every hour. Ask your webhost about how to setup a CRON job on thier servers.

Will this change in the next version? It would be nice not to have to mess with the server and do it all through software..

It's not possible for the software to run the file. If you want to run a file multiple times a day the server needs to execute that file.

Some CMSs, like WordPress and Drupal, have plugins available that can run a cron job for you. But until someone gets around to writing something for Pligg, you can create one yourself in about five minutes, and never have to bother with it again.

You can see how here:

How to Create a Cron Job in cPanel

alright. I think that should be stated on the rss page somewhere. When you have it say run every so often it is kind of misleading.

Search the forum. I know a cron job tutorial using cPanel has been posted numerous times. I think DreamHost uses cPanel.

DreamHost doesn't use cPanel. They have their own wacky back end. But you can find cron help on their Wiki:

wiki.DreamHost.com/index.php/Cron
