installation database create problem

Fulltext indexes require MyISAM table types, if the MySQL server has a default table type other than MyISAM the database create fails.

If you add " TYPE=MYISAM " to the create statements (I put them just before the "AUTO_INCREMENT=15" statement in the install/createtables.php file) the creation succeeds.
