No. It was not me in the video. I did not make the video. I just know enough to read through the forums to find solutions and educate myself how to use the software instead of just automatically assuming it's a bug.

In all honesty its a maze in here and trying to digg (no pun intended) up information takes hours of going over threads with information either not complete/resolved or related to different versions than the one you have installed.

Pligg is a great product, but it lacks a bit in usability and documentation, which I assume is due to its beta status?

The wiki is a great place for documentation. I suggest spending some time reading through that.

Unfortunately for this thread it was a case of people simply not reading the directions.
The modules own readme, located at yoursite/admin_modules.php?action=readme&module=rss_import
Clearly states
  1. Click on "Add a new feed."
  2. Enter feed URL in "Feed URL." input
  3. Configure the feed settings to your preference
  4. Click "Add a new field link" to map the fields of the RSS feed to your Pligg site fields. For example:
    • - link_title
    • - link_url
    • - link_content
Everyone here just wanted to do step 1 and 2. When it didn't work they claim it's a bug. So it really doesn't matter how much documentation you provide if people refuse to read it.

There is nothing in my post that is rude. It's all fact.
I consider your accusations to be forum trolling.
