RSS Bug or not - Not Sure

Hello Chuck, and other Development team..

1st Thank you all for your hard work, and script..

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, so please forgive if this is in the wrong forum placing..

My Platform :
Pligg 9.8.2 Beta
MySQL Ver5.0

This is my question, I follow the instruction and can import the feeds, no problem there...

If however I look at the XML/RSS feed in Mozilla, and look at the raw string, I can see for example in the description all the information I'd like to place into the Tags.. Example Feed : - Apple Support - Most Recent AirPort Articles

In the description:-
<description>
Apple Support - Most Recent AirPort Articles from Apple Inc.
</description>

Which is what I'd like to place in the Tags Field.. but if I examine the feed within pligg, I see Description as a submitted date:-

Array
(
[title] => Back to My Mac: Supported router devices (Mac OS X 10.5)
[description] => Release date: Tue, 27 Nov 2007 22:43:42 -0600
[link] => Back to My Mac: Supported router devices (Mac OS X 10.5)
[content] => Array
(
[encoded] =>

Am I doing something wrong?

How do you put the feeds in different categories, for example I want youtube feeds in video category, while google news can go to say International?

Under admin, go to Category Management and click on a category, it will show you the id.
This was in the video tutorial.

RSS with Tags

Is there a way to assign tags to an RSS feed?
I see a pligg field name, link_tags, but how can I assign them?

Hello, I did exactly the same but i always get the error. There are no items in this feed
While when i check in a feed reader it will contain some.

The only thing i could import is my own feeds from the same site.
Can you please help me?

Thanx

I want to add the link_tags option to my RSS feeds, but "dc : subject" doesn't exist, no other 'dc' option exists except "dc : creator"

Any suggestions? I'm using 9.9.5

Hmm, you can try choosing title in feed names area for the tags. That will fill in the values.
