I am also having a weird thing also with categories. See the attached jpg.

Don't understand what those boxes are supposed to be doing?

If you are taking about the Gray colored Bars, they are not supposed to be doing anything. They are there for visual effect.

To change the category name:

1)Click on the category name. It will become editable
2) Type in the new name
3) Click on "Save"

The grey boxes are so you can change the sorting order. When you have more than one category, dragging and dropping on the grey box above a category will move it there, same with below. Dropping it on a category makes it a subcategory.

haha for visual effect :-) at first I thought too : how ugly this is, and why my categories are not ordered alphabetically when I create new ones, and then I understood that putting two grey boxes cannot be for visual effect because that's ugly anyone can tell, even programmers! :-)
