I'm a bit confused about what you are asking. Could your clarify what exactly you are trying to do?

Right now there is only a function to reset the user's password to password.

To actually change it to what you want you'd have to reset their password then log in to their account and change it from their profile panel....

Or you could use an md5 hash to generate the md5 off whatever password you enter then insert that into the database with PHPMyadmin

changing a password

So if I change a user's password to "password" I can change it in the admin panel? I don't see the option.

No once you change it in the admin panel you need to then logout and login as the user with thier "password" password.

Then go to their profile and set it to what you want as them.

I'll see if I can code a quick admin panel addon really quick tonight.

Please add the feature asap

You should be able to change the password in the admin panel, that is a necessity. I have tried changing the God password thru Phpmyadmin and it just is not working. I changed it with MD5 and nothing works. So then i had to reset again. This leaves the portal vulnerable to attacks, etc.

Never min, i see the feature is built in - at least in the moglio-Beat template. Though its not as obvious as it could be. Should be a tab for personal info under administrator profile.
