Inbox Link disapear when Submit a Site

When you want to submit a new site, the Inbox link from the menu disapear.
Not just my own problem, visit the pligg demo (Pligg Beta 9 / Published News).

I have no clue how to solve this, because it is using the pligg.tpl like the rest.

The inbox is rendered by the following code in header.tpl

{checkActionsTpl location="tpl_sidebar_logged_in_just_below_profile"}   

And the actual text comes from /modules/messaging/templates/inbox_link_as_LI.tpl file - not sure why it fails only in submit step 2 - sharing this finding as may be this info should get someone to fix it.

To fix this problem, edit modules/messaging/messaging_init.php line 8 and add the pages you want the "Inbox link to appear on.
