| Registration Problem If a user submits bad data for any of the fields, hits "Create user" and then gets the error page with the link to go back and try again, the verify and "Create user" buttons are disabled, and only re-enabled if the user resubmits all data. This does not make sense because if only one field is bad (e.g. the passwords don't match) the user is going to go back and only attempt to change the password fields. Our users have anyway ;-) And it makes sense - one shouldn't have to re-enter all to be able to submit. Just the field(s) with bad data. Tried this on the Pligg demo - same problem - so it's not something just affecting our installation. Fix ideas? Thanks! |

| Replace /templates/yget/register_step_1.tpl with this copy. Replace /templates/yget/sidebar_modules/login.tpl with this copy.

| register step 1 still buggy Quote:
Bug (or feature?) - the create user button is disabled by default, until the person registering uses one of the "verify" buttons (this could be by design, people should verify, I just doubt that most bother to) Please let me know about these two issues, and if there are plans to combine validation and verification with the username field. Thanks! |

| register step 1 still buggy And I spoke too soon - still a problem - for example, if a user enters correct info for the username and email fields, but the passwords don't match - when they click back to the form, the "create user" button is still disabled. Doesn't make sense that a user would need to re-verify the username and email, since they clearly passed validation, but until one of the two 'verify' buttons is clicked again, the "create user" button cannot be clicked. Helpful that now those buttons actually can be clicked on, but it doesn't make sense from a UI perspective that they should need to be. Quote:

| Yeah, I fixed that a couple minutes after but forgot to post the updated file here. The file above has been updated and I also included an update for the sidebar register section.
