footer template is UNDER container on index, and INSIDE container on other pages. therefore if you set contents of footer to id=container, it shows up fine (minus a padding error I have yet to find out) yet on all other pages, it shows up as container INSIDE container.
just a heads up for the future release. standardize foter either in or out.
