I'm just wondering if we can phase out the files Smarty.class, Smarty_Compiler.class, Smarty_Test.class, and Smarty_Test. Reason being, as far as I can tell all these classes really do is redirect to the Template-Lite classes. My guess is that when Pligg moved from the full Smarty templating engine to Template-Lite a developer did this to save time and just never went back. For the purposes of providing streamlined/consistent code, I think it would be very nice to remove these smarty classes and refer directly to the template-lite classes. Thoughts?
David.

Hmmm...After further review of the Template Lite and Smarty websites and some Googling, it doesn't look like Template Lite has been maintained in well over a year (yikes!). Perhaps moving back to the full Smarty would be a better alternative? Just wondering... David.
