Hi all,
I am new to Pligg and I am curious about how Voting System work? Does it checks the system IP/MAC address? How does it know that the vote is comming from unique PC. Is it possible for single PC to vote twice?
Thank you for your help.
Sam

| How does IP Address voting work?
Chuckrost, Thank you and I really appreciate your reply. I understand by the username but how does IP Address work, because multiple users can have same IP address (Example: In a corporate environment where users have private ip in the network.). Wouldn't that be a problem? How does is differentiate between those PCs. Any thoughts? Thank you, Sam |

| Thank you chuckroast again. I am planning to let users vote without logging in (so No username). So basically IP and cookies are the only method to uniquely identify? right? Thanks, Sam |
