Pre-Installed Avatars?

I am wondering how hard it would be a feature to have a user be able to select from a bunch of preinstalled avatars? Maybe be able to make a directory to install them in, and it would pull all of them from that directory? If they don't like any, then they can use Gravatar or one they upload?

::bump:: While an old idea, I really like this one. It'd be nice to have a set of existing avatars and then be able to choose from them or upload. Most forums have this functionality.

If you really want this bad...You could hire someone to do it and then contribute the code back in. I don't think it would be too hard - might cost $100-$200 off Scriptlance/oDesk. Or talk to dollars5. They do good work.
...Also, consider making a donation to Pligg. This is used in part to fund future development. I'm good faith committment to $20/mo. at this juncture.
