Russian language in titles

Hi,

I'm a russian pligg user and faced some problems during setup. First of all I need to encode "title" before inserting it to the "link_title_url". I have this encoding code, but cant find the line to paste it. And another thing, russian tags I also need to encode this way: %C0%C2%D2%CE. How can I do this?

There is a definite problem with Pligg 9 for non Latin based languages like Japanese, Chinese, Korean, & Russian. Pligg 8 worked well with the unicode text but 9 just made it so you can't use these languages in categories, or editing the language file from the admin.

Well, I've solved the problem of transliteration of news titles. If somebody looking for it — email me :).

SPICE, I really would like to have russian lang file and transliteration fix. Pligg is awessome, but it needs some time to tune it to your needs...

For example, my problem is in search module.
I type "СЛОВО" ("word" in russian)..

...and have "Search results for ����":confused:
