Announcing Pligg CMS Version 1.1.2
Today we are releasing version 1.1.2 of Pligg CMS. This version includes a couple security fixes along with some handy new features. One such feature is the new "user rank" system, which assigns a rank to each user based on their karma score.

Speaking of karma, we are now including a new Karma Module. This module automatically calculates user karma scores whenever a user performs a common action, like submitting a story, comment, or vote. This module will automatically install on new Pligg sites, people upgrading will need to manually activate it from the Uninstalled Modules page in the Admin Panel.

Another new module that this release will accommodate is the External Vote Button (EVB) module. This new module allows you to embed voteboxes onto third party websites, like Wordpress or Google's Blogger blogs. This is a great new marketing tool for your site.

Upgrading
The upgrade process from the previous 1.1.1 release is very simple. Just copy the new 1.1.2 files over the previous 1.1.1 files, overwriting the older files. When that completes run the upgrade script from /install/upgrade.php to update your Pligg CMS version number and complete the upgrade process.
