load times

Just curious if anyone finds the load times for Digital nature a bit slow. Im my instance it is like it gets hung up on some part of the page while loading.

Take a look if you could and please advise.

I am betting you installed and activated all available modules. The version checking mod will slow down pageload somewhat.

I can't see anywhere in the module administration where it says version checker installed.

I think he's saying to make sure that you disable any modules that you are not using...but I could be wrong.

Also, here's where the pligg version checker is...

http://www.yoursite.com/modules/modules_manage.php

Version Check v0.2 - disable
desc: Checks to see if you are running the latest version of Pligg.
