Any suggestions on how to integrate pligg to PHPBB. Meaning, I already have user's in phpbb and they are use to using phpbb, I just want to make the phpbb login, login to Pligg as well and make phpbb register, register to pligg as well.

I tried this module as well with no luck. I have 50,000 registered users of my phpbb websites, and was hoping to bridge pligg into that userbase.

any thoughts of how to bridge it properly?

I get the same error listed in post #32, does anyone have a solution?

SOLUTION:
I did not edit the "phpbb_root_path" variable in the "phpbb2_settings.php" file.

Hope this helps

I don't recommend you use this mod IMO. It doesn't actually tie it into the database. When you register on Pligg it makes an account on phpbb as well. So all of your current users wouldn't have an account on pligg. Then they will try to be logging into the Pligg and have no luck. While the new users will able to.

I've had many people say they can't login anymore. So I have to explain to them they can only login to the forum and have to register their name on Pligg to be signed on to both.

This is a great mod, and I do use it (my user database is much smaller).

It's great for the newly registered users to have an account on both.
