Pligg API

thanks for the fantastic framework. I have a question about Pligg. Do you currently have any API available to post or update a story such as the ones available in http://del.icio.us/help/api/?

if not is there any plan to support it? thanks.

Hi ps3preorder

Glad you like Pligg..

Pligg comes with a submission tool which can be found inside each users profile. Pligg also comes with an api folder which contains the code used for external vote button.

Hope that helps

It's only found when you view your own profile when signed in.

Easy submission of new links

You can easily submit stories to Pligg Beta 8. Just bookmark the link below in your favorite browser. After that, the only thing you have to do to start submitting a story is to click the bookmarklet in your browser.

Internet Explorer: Rightclick the link below, choose "Add to favorites."
Firefox: Drag the link below to your Bookmarks Toolbar
Opera: Rightclick the link below, and choose "Bookmark Link"

The Bookmarklet: Pligg Beta 8

my location is set correctly as http://mydomain.com. I enabled Urlmethod 2. I think it's probably related to that.

You can easily submit stories to FeedTheBull. Just bookmark the link below in your favorite browser. After that, the only thing you have to do to start submitting a story is to click the bookmarklet in your browser.

Internet Explorer: Rightclick the link below, choose "Add to favorites," and choose the folder "Links"
Firefox: Drag the link below to your Bookmarks Toolbar
Opera: Rightclick the link below, and choose "Bookmark Link"

The Bookmarklet: FeedTheBull

What you are looking to do though is have a link that you can place on a site that says: 'Submit this to my Pligg site"

If you give someone that code then when someone clicks on the submit to your site they will get prompted to fill in the remaining details of the form.

Try it out.

I try to create Pligg API myself, try it on Pligg API - Powered by Jum.name

Method

* List - get category list in XML format
* Login - log in to pligg
* Ping - check website online status
* Post - add a new bookmark
* Version - get Pligg API version
