Top 10 stories

Introduced in the latest version of digg, there are the top 10 stories (i think for the past 24 hours) listed nicely on the side of the page. Is there any interest in adding something like this? Perhaps I should have posted under mods?

This feature was introduced with the yget template. The files that are used are:

sidebar_stories_u.php
/templates/yget/sidebar.tpl
/templates/yget/sidebar_modules/sidebar_stories_u.tpl

You should be able to edit sidebar_stories_u.php to use your template and check out how yget uses the other files and copy that for your template. If you don't have the latest build you'll have to get the files from the SVN at sourceforge.

Sorry, i am very new to pligg.

I can't get this to work. I changed the if-statement to check for digitalnature (the template i am using), I copied the sidebar_stories.tpl files from yget into digitalnature, and its not showing up. Is there something else I have to edit?

Make sure to copy the line of code in sidebar.tpl from yget into your digital nature one.

I copied the files exactly over. I replaced all digitalnature sidebar_stories files with the ones from yget...

You didn't mention sidebar.tpl, though. Did you copy the line of code from the yget sidebar.tpl to the digital nature sidebar.tpl?

How do we make it look like the rest with the expandable title? I can't find any where to edit the look.

I have been working on this for a couple of hours, and when I try to edit the look of the box, it displays 2 boxes, or the collapse effect doesn't work.

I am using digitalnature template.

Does anyone have this working on a digitalnature template that can post their code or some assistance?
