In IE7 I get the error, "Line 234, Char 1, 'null' is null or not an object." This is on the register.php page. The template shows up, but not the register form. Same thing without the error occurs with Mozilla Firefox.
David.

I like the math question CAPTCHA method. I have a friend who is legally blind and can't read the distorted background and high levels of warping on the text that is normally used. It would even be nice if the person the challenge is going out to had a choice of which kind of CAPTCHA method they use.

reCAPTCHA has the ability to 'say' what the words are. The user just listens and then types in the two words.

Allowing a user to choose would allow a spammer to choose the method thats easiest to crack, but I may add that as an option.

Ash, it works perfectly up to the point to registration step 2. I use 9.8.2, and I activated the WhiteHat method. The thing is step two comes as the whole website fitted inside the contentbox (like an iframe of the whole site wrap inside the contentbox). But the captcha is displayed correctly. Sorry I can't provide any url.

It's not really important for me as it's only a test site, but you might look into in case someone else stumbles across the same problem.

No sorry about that, it's local.

But I doubled checked everything, still the same. I compared the old register.php and the new one from the attachment, and a suggestion could it be that there is no call at all for somewhere:

$main_smarty->display($the_template . '/register_step_2.tpl');

Just a suggestion as I have only a basic idea of what goes on in the file. But don't worry about it, it's probably just on my side. Wait till someone else has the same problem, I don't really need the new captcha, the old one is perfect for me

How would I get this mod to work with the email verification mod as well? Both ask to replace register.php.
