The Spam Trigger module is a dictionary-based anti-spam module that checks the content from submitted stories and comments and compares them to words from the spam dictionary. If a word from a story or comment matches a dictionary word or phrase then that story or comment will be held for moderation or deleted from the site.

A video will be posted shortly to give a more detailed description of the module and instructions on how to use it.

When you install the module it will populate the Light trigger dictionary with nearly 200 words and phrases to start you off with. Feel free to upload and share your anti-spam lists with others so that we can build a more effective dictionary to fight spam. Please divide your lists up into 3 sections clearly so that users will be able to determine what level (light, medium or hard) the phrases should be classified as in the module settings page. We suggest that you attach .txt files rather than entering in the words into the post content. You can also post your list to Pastebin.com

      ----------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: This module comes with Pligg 1.0.3 and above.

Reserving first reply for changelog and official spam dictionaries.

    Spam Dictionaries:

    1. 250 phrases divided into 3 categories: profanity, drugs and general spam. You will need to divide the words up into the Pligg lists and remove the titles that separate categories.

Is there any configuration that can make this module works faster? I was using it, however, after review and submit a story it takes almost 1 minute to confirm that the the story was sent.

When I disable this module it's almost automatic the submition.

When I enable this module, I receive the following warning:
Unknown column 'comment_status' in 'where clause' in /home/vhosts/mywebsite/libs/db.php on line 241
I know this module is from version 1.0.3, I have the 1.0.0 would be any way to fix for my version?
    Thanks!

That's because we removed the notice in 1.1.0 when we converted to widgets. You have to enable the Spam Trigger widget from the Widgets > Uninstalled Widgets page. When there are items that need to be managed related to this module, the widget will appear on your Admin Panel Dashboard to alert you.

I'll re-test it next week, but I am pretty sure that it works. I worked on it around the 1.1.0 release to create the widget that notifies you on the Admin Panel Dashboard.
