      SFS Global Antispam v07

      When a person registers they are checked against the SFS global blacklist by IP, and Email address.
      If they have been reported before, they will not be able to signup on your site. No notification or explanation is provided to the spammer attempting to signup on your site.
      If you find a new spammer on your site, you can add them to the global list through the user management.
      Click on "Add user to global spammer database". This adds the users information to the blacklist and will not let them register on any other Pligg site that is using this module.

    Confirmed NOT working with 1.1.3.
    It says they're in the database, the widget shows it blocking them, but nothing is being blocked.
    They are still allowed to register and post.

    Confirmed - it IS even working with 1.1.4!

    Thanks guys, this is an awesome module - extremely helpful!

    How to check: Open an account with SFS, pick an email address from a known spammer, and try to register with your site. It's just not possible. Check
    admin widget for documented registration attempts.

    I've installed this module and see some results, but still have many spammers attacking my site. What else do you suggest to use?

    Also can I entirely block countries such as Indian? Russia? how would you do this?

    P.s. So far I'm using Email verification, Math question, and now SFS Global. I continue to have many spammers.

    I just installed it and within the first 20 minutes, 9 spammers were blocked.

    It does appear to work on 1.2.0

    If it delivers as it promises, I will be making a donation to both Pligg and the Stop Forum Spam site.

    It's been almost 48 hours since I installed SFS Global Antispam on my 1.2.0 version. 1686 registration blocks have occurred. The incidence of Zombie (spam) accounts has decreased dramatically.

    This utility works well beyond my expectations. I highly recommend it.
