    Users who currently use the Facebook Module that allows you to sign in or connect an account using Facebook, please be aware that this module may not work on your website without modifications. I have had reports in the past where users adding a Like box, or other Facebook feature, resulted in Facebook login no longer working. This is because the Like box and the Login feature call the same resources, which results in some conflicts that break the login. There's a workaround for this problem where you have to remove part of the code, but I forget the specific instructions off hand.

    I have yet to try this module on the same site as my Facebook Module, but I just wanted to give others a heads up in case they experience such an error.

    I just took a quick look at the Facebook fan box module and it looks pretty good. Now, I'm wondering if the code can be easily inserted into the snippets section through admin, or, does it have to be manually installed, by means of adding the markup language to the sidebar.tpl file on your server. I'm new to Pligg, so i need to ask some technical questions on how to do things from time to time. Hopefully, I'll get the hang of this in due time. If you can please reply to me soon, I'll appreciate it!

    yes, follow 3 steps on Installations. After that, login as admin, click on Modules --> Uninstalled Modules --> Facebook Like Box --> click on Install

    That's it.

    for more advance users, can play around with the position on the sidebar & i would like to hear feedback from you guys so to enhance it.
    I myself still consider new with Pligg :-)

    cheers,

    I have tested your module on the Squaretle template with the facebook connect module and it seems to work just fine. I just have some issue with where the widget was inserted on the side bar. Can we define anywhere the order on the sidebar?

    PS:
    I have also added
    define('sidebar_facebook_like_box_height', '400');
    to the settings.php file to avoid an overlap with my tag cloud widget

    Perfect.
