Featurify is a featured content gallery Pligg module that allows you to create an automated rotating image gallery of your selected stories. This mod is very easy to customize by simply editing the CSS file and can be integrated in your site by putting a single line of code in any of your template file where you want the slideshow to appear.

Installation

• Put the featurify folder to your /modules of your Pligg directory.
• Open any of your Pligg template files where you want the slideshow to appear and put this code:

Known Bugs

• JavaScript - Slideshow stops auto-rotation when clicking on either Previous and Next button.
• JavaScript - Previous image will not disappear if the current is smaller than the previous one.

What exactly is a Publisher ID?

Go to your Pigg site and make sure you are not logged in.

Mouseover to the "Vote" link on any of the story. You can see in the status bar something like:

javascript:vote(0,10,2,'dfwfw34s8dfjh8342',10)

The second figure inside the parenthesis above - 10, is the News ID.

I installed pligg today and added this module. I can get the box to show up and I have selected two posts in the admin part but nothing is showing on the site

Any ideas? Also I can't find anywhere what the size of the image should be - or doesn't that really matter? Appreciate help

actually i am using wistie and the standard template, ihave size problem doesn't fit in sidebar,..

Make sure that the NEWS ID you added in the Admin really exists. Image will depend on your design.

Add Featured News in Admin Panel > Featurify:Featured Content Gallery

Modify /modules/feaurify/css/style.css and /modules/feaurify/templates/featurify.tpl If you know basic HTML and CSS, you should know what to do.

I made 2 stories "featured". How do I specify one to be under the "Headline" section and one under "Featured"? It seems like it just picks the most recent featured story to be the main headline story.

(I'm using pligg 1.0.2 and arthemia theme).
