Hi guys! I changed the pligg`s rss feed so you can use it as a sitemap now.It updates automatically just like the feed.
The XSLT template is made by Arne Brachhold Arne Brachhold .

      How to install?
      1.Unzip de folder.
2.Upload the sitemap.php and sitemap.xsl to your root.
3.Open .htaccess files, find ## Modules and add this line above it: RewriteRule ^sitemap.xml/?$ sitemap.php [L] .
I noticed if you copy/paste that line into your .htaccess it doesnt work, so you might have to write it yourself.

You can access your sitemap at http://yoursite.com/sitemap.xml or http://www.yoursite.com/sitemap.php .Both ways works with google.

Ok guys.Seems like there is a problem with the XSLT template. If your url is in this format http://www.yoursite.com , then you`re alright, if your site is http://yoursite.com (has no www.) then you have to open sitemap.php , find<?xml-stylesheet type="text/xsl" href=" '.my_base_url.my_pligg_base.'/sitemap.xsl"?'.'> and replace '.my_base_url.my_pligg_base.' with your site in this format: http://www.yoursite.com (don`t forget the www) .

Edit:: This problem is solved now, you dont have to change anything.

Does this sitemap deal with the issues the previous versions have had with it comes to the varioius non-XML supported characters breaking the XML? I am not sure when I will get a chance to test it to confirm with my own site if it works or not but this seems to be the biggest issue with the previous versions that have been released.

One problem is with dates. If you use the XML / RSS feeds for upcoming since there is no "post date" you will get the following error:

    Invalid date
An invalid date was found. Please fix the date or formatting before resubmitting.

    - <url>
    <loc>http://www.justrage.com/alltherest/there-should-be-a-rule/</loc>
    <lastmod>1969-12-31T18:00:00-06:00</lastmod>
    <changefreq>Never</changefreq>
    <priority>0.0001</priority>
    </url>

As for the other error's I cannot find one in my current sitemap. But the problem was with single quotes, so a title like "This isn't a broken title, no wait it is!" was causing the error.

I think there is an if statement for the date which checks if the date is empty or not, in my sitemap only appear published links not upcoming. About the broken title, there is no title in the sitemap, and I didn't find any error using quotes and other signs in links. If anyone finds an error please let me know.
