    Would it be anyhow possible to integrate this model with individual stories, so that I can see what other stories are currently available from the same source.

    Nice mod sansui.

    ..and easy to move the display around by editing rss_display_init.php

    Code:
    $include_in_pages = array('all');
    	if( do_we_load_module() ) {
    		if(is_object($main_smarty)){
    			module_add_action_tpl('tpl_pligg_sidebar_end', rss_display_tpl_path . 'rss_display.tpl');
    		}
    	}
    To change the page the feed is displayed on edit this line:

    Code:
    $include_in_pages = array('story');
    To change where the feed is displayed change the template hook.

    Code:
    module_add_action_tpl('tpl_link_summary_end', rss_display_tpl_path . 'rss_display.tpl');
    This takes the module's output from the sidebar and moves it to the story page and displays the news under the story. After link summary.

    this is great. thanks for that!

    is it as easy to include an "extra field" for the RSS url source?

    I am currently using the extra fields module to have the submitter include his rss feed and would like to display the outcome in the story as you described.

    but how to define an extra field for the source of the rss url?

    Hi.

    I installed this and it shows in my backend that it has been installed, but when I look in the template editor, there's nothing about RSS in it. I'm using garrx9g as my template and it seems nothing much is showing in the sidebar, other than categories and tags. I also have sidebar comments, stories and 'top today' and none of it shows in the sidebar, but they're all installed. The site is Universal Life Church - ULC Seminary and ULC Online Bookmarks.

    I'd like to have my own RSS feed showing, as well as the other things that are installed.

    Suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hi Amy

    The Garrx template is only designed for Pligg Beta 9.9.0 which came out over 3 years ago. So it won't have the required hooks in it that that the newer templates come with. You'll want to change your template to something compatible with the version of Pligg you are using.

    Ah, well that explains it then. Are there any other good free ones out there that can add things? I was using the default 'wistie', but that is too plain. I've only seen maybe one or two others ones. I tried one called 'mystique', but the twitter feed option couldn't be changed to my own feed. When I did change it, it just disappeared.

    I'm fairly new to pligg, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks.
