Installation instructions
Unpack and upload the google_friend_connect folder to yoursite/modules.
Edit yoursite/modules/google_friend_connect/templates/google_friend_connect.tpl with your DIV-ID and site number from google friend connect.

Log into your Pligg site as the administrator and activate the module through the module management panel.

Hi,
I was wondering if it works in 9.9.0

I tried to add friend connect code to "pligg.tpl", but it didn't work. What I'm seeing is just a blank page. If I edit source code using Opera's source code editor, it works great. I couldn't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

No, this module was made for Pligg 1.0
You could probably rebuild it to work with a pligg version that old. But you would need to add in the pligg 1.0 module hooks. Sorry, I just don't have the time to go back and remake this for outdated versions of Pligg.

I was just wondering with the Google Friend Connect, if someone is logged on from the google friend connect can they submit information?

I have installed this, unfortunately, all I get is a blank bar at the top of the screen, nothing is populated in it. Any ideas?

update It seems to work in Google Chrome, but in Firefox 3.5 and Internet Explorer, I just get the blank bar at the top. Also, I am curious as to why it doesn't exist unless you are logged in. I thought the idea was that someone can register at your site using the bar and their existing account with Google, but the bar is absent if you are not logged into the site.
