Sorry to fork the original thread, but the old Sitemap module thread has not been maintained by the original author very often and we have updated the module to work with Pligg 1.x and made some improvements.

Features:

• Users Sitemap
• Pages Sitemap
• Stories Sitemap
• Groups Sitemap

Other modules can now plugin to this module to allow them to be inserted into the sitemap.


Search engines should use one of these URLs:

Url Method 1: http://www.DOMAIN.COM/module.php?module=xml_sitemaps_show_sitemap
Url Method 2: http://www.DOMAIN.COM/sitemapindex.xml

Your example is /sitemap.xml when it should be /sitemapindex.xml if you are using URL Method 2. Please read the original post carefully.

My sitemap is working good but only it gives my an error with groups. I think because i don't have any group created yet.

yes it is done but not showing post entry in sitemap.

@Yankidank Usually in the open source world when you patch a piece of software released by someone else you should at least notify the original author and let him know about it. I usually send patches.
If you don't want to do that but what to create your own version that's fine too but that means you forked the project so please let people know about it ... An accepted procedure is to actually change the name and not just bump the version number.

The version that works is Mihai. Version 0.9 for download in Xml Sitemaps pligg module v0.9 : PatchLog

Works well in pligg current version.
