Some categories not working

Can someone take a look at my site (URL in sig) and tell me why some categories are now working? Take a look at the categories listed on the right hand side. For example, I'll get an error when I click on "Internet Marketing".

Are you using friendly urls? What .htaccess file are you using? Have you tried mine? http://www.pligg.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1102.

Thanks, 3d, I will try it. Does it still work if the category names have spaces in them? For example, I have "Arts & Entertainment".

Maybe not. You may also have a problem using ampersand, or strange characters.

Try it all three ways, making sure to match your admin changes with changes in the .htaccess file per my instructions.

Example: Try “Arts” and try “Arts Entertainment” also try “Arts & Entertainment”.

My guess is the first two (Arts and Arts Entertainment) will work but not Arts & Entertainment.

Please let us know what you find out.

I don't think anything with spaces or characters work. I tried "Internet Marketing", "Internet_Marketing", "Internet-Marketing", "Arts+Entertainment" and they all don't work.

Also, how do I get the categories to work when I click from the Vote for Stories page... e.g. it goes to http://www.blogreporter.biz/queued/category/Marketing and i get a 404. How do I set the .htaccess for this?

OK... I switched back to the .htaccess provided in the MB1.3 zip file and things seem to be working fine now.
