Embedded Video

I tried embedding video into my website. I enabled HTML and allowed the embed tag. I ran into a few issues. The video that I embedded from youtube.com displayed correctley, but it threw the alignment of the stories off. The Google video aligned correctly, but the video wouldn't display unless I loaded it on the page by it self or if I viewed that particular story by itself. Any ideal about what might be going on. Also, I disabled the embedd tag, therefore you can't test it out.

Same Problem: Google Video

Hello,

I do have the same problem. Google Video is not displayed after submitting. The video is shown when clicking into the story. With videos from youtube everything is working fine.

Any suggestions?

Thanx
Mark

Hi meisy

As you can see the last post abovewas made on 10-26-2006 and this issue had seemed to be resolved. I have visited your link and would suggest checking the summary settings.. By default I believe they are set to 150, you might want to set that to around 400... You can find that in your admin> configure pligg> summary

Hope that helps

Hi chuckroast,

thanks for the reply...I realized it was an older port I had just hit a wall and didn't know where to turn.. I went to Config>Summary and upped my "Content truncate" from 150 to 400 and still no dice. sorry to be a pain. I've been reading alot of your posts over the last few days as I have been building this site and see how much (sometimes thankless) work you guys put into this. Any other suggestions? I can PM a god user to you if you think you can quickly troubleshoot.

Thank you in advance.

Aaron
