what are extra fields?
what are they for?
where do they appear? In registration page?
where and how can I change them and set to work?
are there extra fields in "registration" page?
are there extra fields in the "new story" submit section?

"description: Enable or disable extra fields when submitting stories." It doesn't look like it's been developed much. If you enable extra fields you will see a Misc Field listed in the submission area. I don't see a way anywhere in the admin area to change the name of the extra field or anyway to customize it. I guess this could be useful for some sites. I'll try to see if we can develop this feature more in the future. Extra fields in the profile area and registration is a pretty high priority for future releases. Jitgos |

More info on extra fields. Ash just explained to me that you can manually go into /libs/extra_fields.php and change the name of the fields or enable multiple fields. Seems to work. Eventually this will be added to the admin panel so that you do not have to edit the file. Jitgos |
