simple karma sistem

hello again.

how can I put a very simple Karma system that increase the karma count of a user:
1. every time somebody clicks in a user's comment?
2. every time somebody votes a user's story?

in the actual code, aparently the karma is allways 10.00 and never change.

I don't want to do nothing important with the karma number, just "count clicks".

I think this is not a difficult hack to do, but I can't find where.

PS: this changes are dangerous? I mean, do something happen if a user have karma 12, 76, 123, or 1567?

Go into libs/karma-example.php.txt and rename it karma.php then go to yourdoamin.com/libs/karma.php and check out the top users page and you will see karma working.

To keep it working you will need to keep going to the karma.php page a few times a day so it will update.

We are going to work to make the karma a much much better feature before a 1.0 release.

Karma.php is supposed to be set as as cron job so you don't have to keep going to it all the time. A cron job with make it run by itself.

yes, thankz, but that's not what I want. I just want to increase +1 an user's karma when somebody vote +1 his comments.

I don't know what is the actual karma system doing.

Karma will be one of the first couple of major projects we work on for beta 9. Hopefully karma will be able to be configured by site admins just about anyway they want to give flexibility.

Is the current Karma system in beta 8 affecting the weight of a user's vote or any other actions on the site or is it currently just recording and calculating each user's Karma?

I have started a Karma page in the Pligg Wiki and added some of the info in the most recent forum threads on karma.
