Trouble bringing up the admin login

Hey everyone,

I just installed pligg version 6.01 on my server and whenever I go to www.domainname.com/admin it brings up the admin section for my webserver, not the admin section of pligg. Does anyone know how to change this?

I would think just going to www.domainname.com/admin_index.php would work because thats all the htaccess file is doing, redirecting there. But it doesn't...

kevin, as far as i am aware, /admin was only released in 5.5-5.9. it should be admin_index.php. I do not think the htaccess is redirecting it to admin

edit: you were right, i checked htaccess

RewriteRule ^admin/?$ admin_index.php

edit 2: try this, (lol) in the .htaccess file change the line i posted above to:

RewriteRule ^pliggadmin/?$ admin_index.php

then go to ww.yoursite.com/pliggadmin

technically, that should work.

Once you're logged in a "god", the admin link *should* show up in the user panel.
