TrackBack what it is for

I wonder what is trackback for? I just installed the script and see no difference between trackback and discuss

Do a search of the forums, you'll learn a lot about the trackback function. Trackbacks are completely different than "discuss". As it relates to the articles on the Pligg site, this is a way for people to reference the "permanent link" for the posting. As it relates to sites submitted to a Pligg site - when a story is added to a Pligg site, the Pligg program sends a little message (or trackback) to the site being referred to - in blogs this is often displayed in the "Comments" section. It's useful as a way to let the blog know they were Pligged, as well as some free advertising for your site (and the links don't hurt your Google Page Rank either).

Really, this is a basic summary, look around and also do a Google search for it. You're on the wrong track if you think this is like the discussion (or commenting) feature.
