New User Registration problem

I am running Pligg Beta 9 and I am able to log in as the Admin however whenever a new user goes to create their own account, the random image (for confirmation) doesn't display. Everything else displays properly, but no confirmation image.

Sounds like your server or host may not have the GD library installed..

Well, we are hosting it on our own server, so I guess it would be the GD library. What directory would I be looking for to see if the GD library is installed? This is a LAMP server running Apache 2.x, PHP 5.x, MySQL 4.x,

Also, before I forget, the User Avatars do not upload properly. When I browse to the file that I want, and then click upload, it takes me to a blank page with the same URL that I was just in. Permissions issue maybe?

Yep, the GD libraries were the problem. I had to install a bunch of php packages for Mandriva, but now it finally works.

About
