Number of Stories on the front page

Hey all,
I'm told it is difficult currently to change the number of stories displayed on the front page. Is this so? (has this been answered elsewhere, I couldn't find it) Since I only show the headline on my page, I'd really like to display 2-3x as many as I do now. How do I change that?

goto config.php in root dir of pligg and open config.php. find line :

$page_size = 8; (or similar)

change the number to however many stories you want. i.e. $page_size = 15 etc.;
